Exciting opportunity to join the Kantar Technology team. The role is truly global in scope and the successful candidate will lead a team of technical project managers and deliver business critical and related infrastructure projects.

KEY OUTCOMES

Lead a global team of technical project managers through clear guidance and inspiration, and build on a global can-do culture and develop project best practice
Deliver complex technical projects/workstreams in a structured, organised manner
Prioritise and work with infrastructure 3rd parties to plan and schedule all required project deliverables and changes to operational services in line with agreed demand
Ensure reporting on progress, risks, blockers and required escalation to senior stakeholders happen for the team, including directly with the CIO of Kantar on a monthly basis
Manage the handover process for new/changed services/applications between Service Development and live operations in a controlled manner.
CAPABILITIES

Excellent people and team management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment.
Highly organized, excellent planning skills with strong Technical Project Management background
5+ years’ experience with infrastructure transformation projects such as data centre exits or consolidations, network and telephony upgrades, workstation refresh and OS upgrades.
Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal set of stakeholders across the globe
Expert project insight skills, including ability to anticipate issues and risks.
Excellent Supplier Management skills
Appreciation of how all the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of the project
Organise and attend outcome-based meetings that seek all points of view and help reach consensus on difficult issues to ensure the delivery of these workstreams.
Ability to work in a broader Kantar team (including off shore team elements), frequently sharing information and collaborating effectively
An interest and passion for IT and technology and how it can transform a business
Computer science degree or equivalent level of technology understanding
